Health and fitness trackers for your bullet journal can be used for so much more than just getting into shape. These spreads can help with your overall physical wellness. We are going to take a look at all the different ways you can use your bullet journal for health and fitness.
Health is more than just making sure you are working out or eating right. Health is about making sure your body is performing at its peak levels at all time. It’s important to track what’s going on with your body so you can maintain a good level of health.
Before we get started here is a list of my recommended supplies.
Recommended ProductsFrom time to time the Scribbles that Matter Journal is sold out on Amazon. When this happens third party sellers will try to sell the journal for an insane amount of money. DO NOT BUY THAT! Scribbles that Matter should be back in stock soon. My second favorite journal is the Essentials Dot Matrix, though I warn you the pages on this one are thinner and bleeding and shadows show up on opposite sides. However, it's a decent cheap journal if you are in a pinch and just want to get started.

Track Your Fitness
If you are looking to be healthier or show your progress you might want to consider a fitness tracker for your bullet journal. A fitness tracker will not only give you a place that you can record your daily activity, it can provide some proof to what you are doing daily for your health.
If you have ever been overweight you know doctors are not always the best at helping. There are many doctors who flat out don’t understand that you may just be doing everything you know to do. Tracking your activity levels can go a long way to allowing you to look at your doctor and show what you have been doing so together you can figure out a plan that will work.
More than that for those who don’t have problems losing weight (because we know each body is different) the fitness tracker will help you to show how far you have come. It also helps you to push yourself a little further by doing an extra set or going the extra mile.
Track Your Food
Getting active is just part of getting healthy. The next step is being aware of what you are putting into your body and making sure you are fueling yourself properly.
Food is fuel for your body. You would not deprive your car or fuel or oil and expect it to run at it’s best, why would you do it to your body? Tracking what you eat can give you huge insight to the best way to fuel your body.
Picking the right types of proteins, fats, and carbs can help energize your body so you can burn more. Listen if you starve your body of its nutrients it will hang on to the bad things and make you gain weight. If you give your body what it needs it will be able to perform at the highest level.
Food is not your enemy so track what you eat and make sure you are fueling your body with the right types of foods.
Track Your Water Intake
I try to drink 6 16 fl oz bottles of water every single day. I usually hit at least 5. Water is the healthiest thing you can put in your body and you should be drinking it. A well hydrated body has a lot of benefits. Less pain, glowing skin, and better overall health just to name a few.
Additionally, when you are drinking enough water you actually feel less hungry, this means you are less likely to eat junk food because you are starving. Drinking plenty of water means you will eat not because your stomach is begging for food but because you know you have to fuel your body with the healthy options.
I track my water intake in a daily spread. I mark down each bottle of water and push myself to get to 6 each and every day. Tracking your water in your bullet journal helps you to stay on track.
Track Pain
As I get older and more aches and pains come around, I thought it might be smart to start tracking my pain. Not only will this prove to be helpful in doctors appointments but it helps me make sure that I am treating my pain the best way possible.
Tracking your pain can also help you to determine what makes the pain worse too. If your pain is worse when you don’t stretch in the morning it will become a priority to make sure you do your stretches. Does stomach pain flare up when you eat a certain food? Now you know for sure.
Track Symptoms
Like tracking your pain you can also track your symptoms. By tracking your symptoms you can determine if there is a trigger that makes it worse. This makes it easier to diagnose and treat your ailments.

When you are setting up your spreads at first keep them easy to read and easy to understand. This will help especially if you are planning on showing them to your doctor. Your health is important so use the spreads to make sure you take care of yourself.
As far as reaching fitness goals there is one thing to keep in mind. Make sure you have a healthy goal in mind. The last thing you want to do is set unhealthy goals for yourself because it can wreak havoc on your mental state as well as your well being.
